The rules and regulations behind renting space at the club
Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to check availability and for an official contract. Under no circumstances will an event will be secured on the event calendar without a signed contract and rental deposit.
The contracted rental fees include 2 extra hours (outside of the event times specified on the contract) to be applied to set up and tear down/clean up – before and after your event. If you feel that you may need extra time for either set up or tear down (and we don’t have another event booked during the day) we can rent you additional time at $50.00/hour.
Our cleaning policy ($500.00 refundable security deposit) is that we ask that all trash and decorations are cleaned up and taken to the outdoor dumpsters, tables and chairs (from the rented space as well as the Lobby and Fireside Rooms) wiped down and returned to their original storage space, and floors swept (and mopped/vacuumed if needed) of the Ballroom or Garden Terrace at the end of your event. We charge a $150 cleaning fee to cover any of the above cleaning (which will come directly out of the security deposit).
We also ask that you respect that Fry’s Spring Beach Club is a very old and historical building. The rental fees that you are agreeing to in this contract are stated that the building is ‘AS IS’ and we cannot be responsible for making suggested cosmetic adjustments before or during your event date. And, because the building is older, please be aware that anything can happen at any time structural-wise and we will do everything in our power to correct the issues at the time it happens, but full resolution of these types of issues cannot be guaranteed.
Finally, we ask that you designate one person from your party as our point contact person, preferably an individual that has been included in the specifics of this contract and is aware of the terms of this agreement. This helps to ensure proper communication between our staff and your committees without any questions or uncertainty.
ABC LICENSE and alcohol at FSBC
At FSBC, we hold our own ABC License. This license is intended for FSBC Members. In the case of event rentals, FSBC Members and FSBC Member-sponsored events may bring in outside alcohol to be given to guests. Bartenders for a cash bar will be an additional cost added to your contract at $15/hour.
