Red Yarn for Jefferson Area CHIP

Red Yarn (aka Andy Furgeson) is a Texas-born, Oregon-based family performer who weaves folksongs and puppetry into high-energy shows for all ages. With his engaging performances, lush folk-rock recordings, and playful music videos, this red-bearded bard is reinvigorating American folklore for younger generations.

With traditional and original songs blending folk, country, blues and rock, RedYarn’s dynamic sound is both rooted and modern. Touring in support of his fifth album, Red Yarn's Old Barn, Red Yarn will encourage audiences to sing, dance, stomp, clap, and celebrate the multicultural musical heritage of the USA. As Red leads audiences through the landscapes of American folklore (depicted on beautiful quilted backdrops), he introduces his critter friends – lovable, handmade puppets – along the way.

Pool gates open at 4 pm and the music starts at 5 pm! This event is free to FSBC members (with donations gratefully accepted) and $10/person or $35/family for non-members. Come have fun and support a great cause! All proceeds go directly to Jefferson Area CHIP. The FSBC bar and grill will be open.
